Good NEws!!!!

Here comes December…. Cool ….2007 is going to end soon…good news…I start working already which is in MCDONALDS… ha-ha it’s just a temporary job in Perth since I don’t plan to go back so early yet.. So…. I told them I would like to start working on 27^th November but they did not call me instead I call back to remind them…finally the manager answered and ask me to come for orientation…Thursday was the day… went there quite early… get to know the crew trainers, watch their old videos which is quite important..After that the manager gave a brief talk about the procedures and lastly mini tour around McDonalds… each of us is given a paper which mentions when our training day...is Mine was on Wednesday and Friday...learn to make drinks, fries, clean dining room and FRONT COUNTER.. first day is not always the best day because we have to learn fast and able to get the right orders… my second day training was DRIVE THRU…ahhh I heard the crew trainer said that I’m not suppose to be trained at drive thru because its for those people who work in McDonalds for few months…. Anyway I was a bit nervous and my crew trainer asked me to speak louder…. I realize that they are not efficient and a bit disorganized because I have to call them and ask when is my next shift which they have set a duty roster for me…till now I do not know when is my right shift…I’m afraid they will feel a bit annoyed because I keep on call them…

Well well there is another good news which is I got my pay but it was a bit little because its training days so they don’t pay much…anyway I’m also happy about it…if I knew I got paid I wouldn’t spend my money…. I also bought a new ROXY bag which I lik it very much…. Last few weeks I saw there was three but I went there again on Wednesday I saw it was the last one and I quickly grab it holding around thinking should I buy or not… yeah..Final decision was YES I WANT TO BUY!!!!! No regrets the bag was nice…

The third good news is my FINAL EXAM RESULTS….. I never expected to get distinction because I know that I did not do quite well…but it was unexpected… I stoned for few seconds looking at my results..*shock* I got 2 distinction 1 credit and a pass….so yeah baby finally GRACE TAN LAY HONG officially graduate from Curtin…after so long of studying I finally got my degree… I would say this is my biggest present for my dad which his birthday is on 16 December, Sunday….I’m also proud of myself because I got quite good results…

Ha-ha so many good news to share….can’t wait to celebrate Christmas which I have not done before with my friends…

Final Exam and Family Trip

Say about final exams I’m quite happy about the timetable done by Curtin because it is on Tuesday and Wednesday which I’m the first one to finish among all my housemates...after my exams is done I have to start packing stuff because Erica contract ends on 26 November which I have to move out and luckily I found a place to stay…. My friend went back to Malaysia so she does not want to pay empty rent that is why I took over her room… a bit lonely here cause I’m not so close to her friends though we are in the same college… honestly, packing stuff is not a very good thing because after all the sweat and energy used, I have to unpack everything… easy to pack but hard to unpack… but I’m lucky because I have my own cupboard to put all my clothes…gosh while I was packing I did not realize that I bought heaps of clothes….which means I spent quite a lot over here plus MELBOURNE…

so before everyone head to their own way we had a family trip to ROCKINGHAM to see dolphins, penguins, sea lions and pelicans… this trip gave me good and bad experience… I love the apartment because is so nice and everything is fully furnished for you..Ever since I step in to Perth I stop experiencing the air conditioning over here…when we reach the apartment I quickly on the air conditioning and feel the cool air from it…ahhhh~~~~…. Later we plan what to eat and do later…went IGA to shop some groceries and pass by one club which is the adult club… did not get to look more because is close..after that everyone went to the beach and GRACE TAN get to wear her PLAYBOY BIKINI again…at night we celebrated our housemate early birthday because everyone is leaving on 26^th which is her birthday..so I took her out for a walk and also check the adult club we did not get in because we did not bring our passport but we manage to peep from the window and guess what??? We saw them showing PORN VIDEO…. But to them is normal le…we went to the playground and sat on the swing…oh man I love to sit on the swing because I can feel that im flying up high the sky…ha-ha… all the way we walked thy have different playgrounds which I went to play…I know I know those are not meant for me…but it was at night so no one will bother plus all the kids went to bed lo… reach home gave her a birthday surprise and bought some VODKA too… the next morning we all woke up early to see dolphins…gosh… I do not know what happen to me… I PUKE in the boat… *I manage to get in the toilet and throw out* I feel much better after that…so I did not get to see much too but no worries my housemate took a video of the dolphins… they are really cute, chasing our boat but only halfway… next destination was watching penguins, they are cute too… I want to tell u guys that sea lions are lazy….we were watching them sleeping and they also look like corpse because they don’t move… up the hill heaps of birds gathering around like they were having meeting which is the PELICANS… OMG they are so HUGE….we finished our whole trip at 3 p.m… everyone was so TIRED but we had fun…. REAL FUN….

P.S--- I forgot to take a picture of me wearing the bikini and we took a picture with a good looking guy who brought us to Penguin Island and food too…

November is Over

OOMMMGGG…..the month of November and everything is over…. I finish my exams…I finish my assignments… I finish my internship…. Final word… I finish my DEGREE and one more thing my ERICA contract ended too…. I start my studies at Taylors college in 2003 and finally I finish my studies in 2007 at Curtin University of Technology…5 years of study that should be enough for me… right now I’m having my holidays and waiting for my results on 12 December… I’m still in Perth… din go back Malaysia cause I want to earn some AUSSIE money and if possible get a permanent job here…I find that if I start my work here would be good cause I gain some better experience here than Malaysia… oh well holidays for me are fun and relaxing because I do not have to think about studies except for my results… I have leave home for about 10 months already…I still can’t believe I’m away from home for so long already..So do I miss home?? Half half le…He-he I get to feel the FREEDOM here no nagging from my parents and I can go back ANYTIME I WANT…BWAHAHAHAHAHA *Sound EVIL* ok ok so what have I learnt in Perth… besides studies my experience here some are good and bad… good thing is I learn to be independent and cooking too even though I still can’t cook NICE food but I will try my best to learn…*I guess*..meet some lovely and friendly housemates…I really enjoy staying with them …we have so much fun like having flat dinner, steamboat, barbeque, family trip and the best thing is drinking night (vodka, wine, beer).. Ha-ha I also went for cell group which they have bible talk and worship thingy...Even though I’m not Christian but I don’t mind joining because I get to learn something and also meet awesome people… bible studying is never ending and there is so much to learn plus understand too..... Bad things happen in Perth that one I can’t mention it out…. I’ll keep it for myself….he-he..

October

Wow after I finished my internship I stop blogging for 1 month….ha-ha actually I’m a bit lazy to update but still I will find some time to write too…finishing my internship was good because I don’t have to wake up so early and go for work which is NOT PAID…I felt so relief at that time because I have 2 day classes and 5 days OFF isn’t cool but then is not a good thing too because the other few days I do not know what to do… so basically what happen in October is just assignment and presentation…. Can’t believe everything is over right now… meeting with my group mates was a bit tiring for me cause they like to set the meeting time in the morning which my brain does not function during that time… but overall was quite good and I’m lucky to have good group members…when we do our assignments we always hope to get good and efficient group members which is hard also… hmmm what else happen on October?? A hah I know… I went clubbing in Metro city for the Asia Cocktail Night with my housemate suppose to be four person end up only both of us went… he he as usual le go there see guys and dance nonstop… we got two free drinks… say about that I can’t believe their red bull is just the red bull can which I can buy anywhere… I asked the lady what free drink we got so she told us we have vodka with lemon, champagne or red bull soooooo I thought their red bull would mix with some other drink thingy but in the end is only A REDBULL CAN….but I order vodka with lemon… I loveeee to dance which I can get some guys to dance with me…. Is this call flirting?? =P anyway I just love dancing…. Yeah so that’s about what happen on October…. Nothing much happen lah because is an assignment month….

INternship - Swan Districts Football Club

Finally Grace Tan Lay Hong has officially finished her internship at Swan Districts Football Club… 20 days is really very long…I start working on 21^st August and end today which is Thursday 4^th October…. So what I say is true…time flies really fast… working there I can say is an OK for me…. Even though the working environment is a bit boring but I manage to get free nice food such as pastries, muffin, different kind of salad and the best one I ate was the STEAK…I know I know I said before not to eat beef anymore oh well probably that will be my last time to eat beef…. Experience?? Well I did gain experience working there… telemarketing, promotion campaign, use my creative ideas, data entry and all the admin work too…during work time you are not allowed to online but then I was too bored so no choice la… online is the only way to ‘entertain’ my work… I will try to go back early as in like exactly at 5p.m so I will purposely drag my work till 5 and just tell the boss saying I will continue my work tomorrow or I have finish my work so I will see you next Tuesday…ha-ha…I just don’t want to reach home late cause nowadays my campus here not really that safe…robberies, thief snatch bag etc…I also meet new people who come for work experience but mostly are gals oh man…no guys meh?? But never mind lah I finish my internship so don’t have to think about it anymore…. So I will rest for 1 week first then only start my journal and the work experience report too… my journal I just have to do some editing because I always write down my task during my working hours so that I won’t forget…. Ha-ha nothing much to write about my internship cause is just working working working working…. So that’s about it….

P.S…I’m going clubbing on Friday (5^th October 2007) time to dance nonstop and release all the stresses and tiredness…

Change

In one year heaps of things can happened…I agree that because in one year you have 365 days so anything can happen…I have been in Perth like nine months another 1 more month then I graduate already…can’t believe time flies so fast…I remember January I was taking my summer course then mid February I had two test, had farewell dinner with family and friends and on 18^th February 2007 which is the first day of Chinese New Year I was getting ready to go Perth..... When I reach Perth the weather was hot then meets some new friends and check out some good looking guys *tsk tsk* …. Monday was my first class 8.30a.m (my worst time) getting ready brought my CURTIN map just in case I get lost somewhere and also late for class *good achievement le FIRST time punctual for my morning class* those who take the same course as me they should know that I’m always LATE for morning class….. ha-ha~~anyway I just cut the story short la cause I want to write other things too lazy write all about my uni life… so~~~ what other things happened here?? Besides stress and tired, I felt myself changed a lot too especially my feelings towards my boyfriend…I can say this is a major change for me cause is kind of hard to let go after two and the half years together...Is not that easy to maintain the relationship for so long…. 4^th September was the date that we decide to let go each other since the relationship is getting worse…. He also thinks that I changed a lot and I still remember him saying you are not my Lou po (wife) I knew last time….. Actually I agree that too cause when I think back about the past I felt myself STUPID…. I can’t believe I did all this things and when I came here only realize this is how he treats me and I’m still okay with it?? And also we communicate quite less due to the time...and worse come to worst is lack of trust all this time I always put trust on him but ever since I step in to Perth I knew he will not trust me so no matter how I ‘REPORT’ to him I still feel he don trust me…so what is the point of continuing the relationship….I always tell myself that I hope this first boyfriend will last forever but first love does not always last and it depends….oh well not anymore…. When a human being grows older their thinking tend to be more maturely… (My English is not that good but I’m sure u guys understands what I’m trying to say) hehe…….One of my best friends is an example to me and this is what she said to me not every first is always the right one for you and when u actually find a second boyfriend u will realize that he treats u even better than the first one…. And I think is true cause she also had a bad experience and now she has a new boyfriend which treats her even better than the first one…I can see that she is really very happy compare to last time..I’m happy for her too… so I hope this will also happened to me too… after all the fuss I really feel happy because the big burden I hold all this time has been thrown far away…. Seriously I felt the relief cause even he also can’t guarantee me that he can actually carry the burden I hold… actually I should had break up with him earlier but I still give him time to change but still I can’t feel any confident from him so maybe this is my right decision to let go and let him do his own things… he also know that I suffered quite a lot and he feel hurt when hear me saying all the burden I have carried… Anyway I just wish him good luck in his career and find a right girl … even though we can’t be couples but we are still friends…

My September

OMG…is already end of September…time flies really damn fast…hmmm so what did I do in September…. As usual, working at Swan Districts Football Club on Tuesday and Thursday every week…I have 2 mid test and 1 presentation…say bout mid test I’m not quite satisfied about it even though I passed the it…I was expecting higher marks….n the presentation I can say is a shock for me…after this 4 years of studying in college I always get nervous in presentation and always hold notes to present but this time I just present by referring to the slides I have done and nevertheless I also speak fluent and fast English.... I know I speak fast but it doesn’t matter cause im in Australia…. People here all speak English for goodness sake…. Of course they can understand what im trying to present…even the tutor just say ‘phew’ because I was like catching a train… but what to do the presentation is only 10 minutes and I only have 2.5 minutes to present…overall the presentation is good but one of my group member is quite lucky cause he do not need to present…..U ARE LUCKY MAN….ha-ha…I also had flat dinner supposing 7 people end up suddenly another 8 people coming….but it was quite fun cause we also celebrate Mooncake Festival Party….we also made plain pinky tang yuan and with chocolate too….one more new ‘recipe’ they made is WASABI tang yuan??? Sweat~~~~ purposely made two just to made fun with them….ha-ha my fren said y so salty one…hehe I never try before so I really don’t know how it taste like…. Another thing happen was I got sore throat, cough and flu…ish I hate to get sick cause is damn suffering plus I cant eat this and that….i have to buy cough medicine cause I did not bring any from Malaysia……on the 29^th September, me and my housemates went strawberry farm…ha-ha I can tell u the strawberries are big and sweet I pluck a lot n only weigh 8 dollars…I thought I have wasted the other 2 dollars but my fren say no la u just saved 2 dollars…oopss I miscounted….hehehe…. after that I also bought 1 strawberry port and liqueur which cost me AUD 44.50 but is shared by all of us…. At night we had BBQ with my housemates…. Just wondering about something... I din know that we can BBQ MARSHMALLOWS but it was nice…ha-ha….Tuition free week on 21^st September till 30^th September…is only one week and I have been working for the 4 days…so sad….cant go anywhere…but anyway after that 4 days I left only 3 days to finish my internship….bwahahahahahaah~~~~

I think there’s about it on what happen on September….I will try to update my blog if I have the time…..
