Canton I

i always wanted to try Canton I and finally i had a taste of the food
it was on Saturday..yeah my half working day....
well Canton-I is
similar with Dragon I
but Canton-I serve most 'fast' dishes like

wantan noodles, fried rice, dim-sum and some stir fry dishes....
this is their fit out...

it was crowded and the queue was long too..
me and my colleague had to wait for a table...

counter drinks

they also have a 'mini bar' for u to watch
chefs making dumpling or ramen or something else.....

all the teapots....one whole row...
too bad my camera cant take the whole thing...

the specialty

i ordered this combination rice with two...as in u can have
roasted and bbq pork together...yuummmyy...i love the bbq pork ALOT....
i enjoyed the food very much...
oh ya i didnt take my colleague's order cause shes vergetarian
and had no choice to eat
plain mee..then she requested is it possible to add veges
the captain say yes but u will be charge
and they don simply add for u free
according to him the vegetable specially come from
Hong Kong....oh well so each of us are given
a stick of vege....
and this meal cost me about RM11.80...
reasonable price.. *i guess*

FInally my favourite part of all....EGG TART...gosh...
i love thier tarts its so damn good
and its a must HAVE in every table
the pastry is flaky *i learn a new word* and light...
and the eggy part is at the right amount of sweetness
and must eat while its HOT but then price wise...ha-ha...
its 3 for RM6 but that day they gave me 2 which i dont know why
anyway they also serve siew pao, lou poh peng and many more...
i didnt order much because just both of us....
and
i dont think we can finish everything..

so go give it a try....no regrets...

Molten Lava

ha-ha..this post suppose to be last 2 weeks but i kept forgetting to update about this new yau char kuay in 1utama...just open few weeks ago so me and my colleagues decided to give it a try....

preparing yau char kuay for us and the customer outside.....

thats the machine thingy which they just need to turn the 'wheel'
and the small thin not cooked yau char kuay out of it
and automatically fall into the deep fried 'wok'

when its done the fried yau char kuay will be
placed on the netting...

that is the fitout of the outlet..
small and simple...

the menu..

its an open kitchen which we could see the whole process of the frying yau char kuay part...

we ordered molten chocolate dip...er...i would say its an okay because when we ordered it was abit hard and cold...plus the chocolate was not hot...maybe its meant to be 'cold' and they actually fried the yau char kuay early...

then we thought of trying others which is this churros sundae...well..nothing special about it...normal ice cream and they just put two yau char kuay at the side

ha-ha...then we took so many pictures just to get the perfect one....sat there for an hour cause we've got so much to talk..we didnt try the sambal ikan bilis because apparently one of my colleague is a pure vegetarian....ha-ha...and according to them thier specialty is the cinnamon sugar...they gave some free yau char kuay for us to try and i think its all right...maybe because i don fancy cinnamon....so yeah u guys can go giv it a try....

Location - New wing 1 Utama near Cold Storage

P.S: sorry for my bad grammars....im still improving it as i had start blogging about food...so hop u guys don mind.. =)

My ankle

i sprained my ankle this morning.
on the way to office
when i reach the ONE WORLD hotel exit
push the glass door and wanted to step out
*one step down*
I FELL instantly
until now i cant recall how i fell
it was my first time i wore my high heels
and
i sprained my ankle so badly
i couldnt get up
crying in pain
nobody helped me
they just look and go
so so typical Malaysian
luckily today theres a kind lady
help me out
i didnt manage to say THANK YOU
cause i was in pain
all i can rmbr is her heels are blue in color
i felt bad but i hope she understand
so i walked barefooted to office like a heroic
cant take the pain and it started to swallon
called my dad to pick me up
and
went straight to see physician
she use a needle to poke on my pain
bceause she say its the only way
the blood inside was 'frozen'
i cried again... boohoo
and
now its wrapped with bandage
walking like an old lady *up and down*
eat medicine and put some yellowish liquid
slept for the whole day
when i wake up i still can feel the pain
tmr (Wednesday) im MC
will be back working on Thursday
*hopefully my leg fully recovered*

Charcoal Steamboat

this post suppose to be last week but i was busy with work and some stuff going on.....busy weekend thats it....so...i went for another food tasting again...this one i haven had for a long time.....my dad wanted to try the new one just behind Klang Parade but it was packed....so decided to go for this instead....charcoal steamboat....its located in Berkeley Klang corner shop near residential houses....

well this is something different from others...using charcoal instead of gas.....we ordered 3 person and a plate of seafood lala....yummmmmy.....i luv to eat lala...only the big hard shell....no others....anyway we thought our steamboat pot will be the first to come cause all of us were hungry but the lala came first....it took about 10 minutes cause its charcoal so u have to wait for it to burn....then when it came we quickly throw evything inside....and wait again...using charcoal its abit slow to get cooked so u have to be very patient....

when it was cooked i quickly take the fishball....i think its homemade....nice....i luv the soup...they actually some tau kee and tau pok to make the soup taste little different....i didnt drink much bceause i wil get thirsty easily thou its nice....ha-ha...i found out they don give u free eggs..u have to ordered urself...serve mihun instead of yee mee....we ordered two piece of it...and my dad ordered one seafood crab.....don really like it cause its not flower crab....so yeah the bill came up RM 108.20.....hmmm....i think its average price.. =)

cheers....

WanTan Mee at Bukit Tinggi Klang

food tasting again...ha-ha...it was on Thursday...i get to attend the technical meeting with my colleagues because my superior was on leave which is why i have the chance....oh well...every thursday they always have this CCM and technical meeting...anyway my colleague asked me any nice food to eat in Bukit Tinggi Klang...i say not sure so we google search and came across this restaurant called wah chai.... *i don like the name cause so ngam its the same as my ex bf's name* we saw this delicious wan tan mee.... ha-ha...thought of searching for other food but we have no time....so we chose this....from our office which is 1 Utama to bukit tinggi klang takes about 30-45 minutes...depends on how fast u drive...the place was not a hard thing to search.....the shop is facing the big field...well once u turn in to the junction u can see this big shop name already...

then we looked for a place to sit....wow it was packed....ccause its lunch time...ha-ha...then i saw heaps of people ordering the food...i guess they have a variety of wantan mee styles but i didnt check it out because too many people already..they have like 3 to 4 maids to help out.....ha-ha...i ordered
wan tan mee soup with bbq pork and roasted pork whereas my colleague ordered dry wantan mee with chicken feet and roasted pork....we waited for 15 minutes.....

the results are its delicious....especially the noodles its different from others i tried before...maybe the noodles are made by them....the wantan was very small...maybe they are trying to cut cost..but to be honest those days the wantan are big and alot of fillings inside....oh well....price point about RM4....mine was RM5.50 because i add BBQ pork and roasted pork...that one also very nice....thumbs up....the chicken feeet is nice too...soft..not only i luv the noodles but the pork too....yummmy..... =)

i don have the address but u can just google search it by typing wah chai......its located at Bukit Tinggi Klang....

cheers....
