Melbourne trip Day 1

Melbourne trip story begins........

9th Feb - 15th Feb 2011

We didn't know heaps of people heading to Melbourne. It was a very long queue. My parents send me to airport that day. They waited for me to check in before leaving the airport. Reminds me of when I'm flying to Perth but that was when I'm with my dad and youngest brother. We took Airasia flight and thank god the weather was not very sunny because it was a long walk to the plane. gosh. I guess budget airlines are like that.

So what you expect the seats are small and straight. Thou its adjustable but how low can you pull it down. I didn't get good sleep anyway. 8 hours flight to Melbourne was not very pleasant. Imagine Airasia flight to UK??? crazy~~~ Couldn't get right position to sleep same goes to him. he-he.

Next the air stewardess start serving food. I bought this vegetarian pasta. RM12. The food was all right.

He ordered Smoked bbq chicken. Me stole the potatoes. ha-ha! Just couldn't get good sleep that night. We reached Melbourne 1.45am! 3 hours early than Malaysia time. Pass custom and getting taxi to reach our apartment at Southbank. It was close to 3a.m! Head to maccass to grab some food. We took a quick shower and head to sleep.

Yeah I say we must wake up at 8.30a.m and end up waking up at about 10 plus. Guess all of us tired. Me and my cousin while waiting for the rest to get ready me using her iPhone to update my Facebook status and she playing games on iPad. ha-ha Australia is all about APPLE! =)

The view from our apartment. It's actually close to freeway so couldn't open the window to sleep cause of the noise. Thank god the living room air cond was strong. We left our door open so that the cooling air blows in. =)

Brunch at Pancake Dessert House! Portion very big I couldn't finish my noodles. ha-ha! Me choose 3 ingredients and type of noodles.

After brunch we walk around the city. State of library. Last time me alone take picture but this year me take picture with my love one which is him. =)

He insisted to take picture together with the statue I said no~~ I took before now is your turn. ha-ha!

Asian Kopitiam spotted at QV. He was surprised to see one there.

Me bought this monopoly game for AUD5 and I won AUD10! Ahh so close to the numbers! Could have won AUD100! =)

Hi Melbourne Central! Long time no see! This year me come visit you with my love one! =D

We bought our Great Ocean Road trip at evergreen holidays! We have been advised not to purchase the Chinese tour thou it is cheap so we bought English tour. Tour and lunch AUD111! XD

My first purchase for the day! Black Lacey glove from Sportsgirl!

We head to Coles! Feel so homeyyyyy! Coles Chicken~~~ See that Mother drink! Packaging changed. =)

Self checkout counter! We were amazed by that and bought few things just to tryout! So hightech! =)

Second time! He ask me to do exactly like the status expression.

They didn't want to have early dinner so I head to Maccas and bought Caramel Sundae! I know it's very sweet but ooohhh my favourite ice cream! Burger King in Malaysia had too but the taste is totally different. =P

All of the sudden they changed their mind. Early dinner then.

I ordered this pork ____ with rice. I didn't like it very much cause it was very salty and I have to ask him to help me finish it. I regretted ordering it because the portion was very big.

After our very full and bloated dinner, we had a long long walk.

The Chinese New year decoration in Crown Casino. While on the way back I head to Bottle shop to get my vodka cruisers! Price increased! oh well~~ Bought my all time favourite flavour!

I had 1 bottle before sleep. ahhh~~ the feeling was awesome. We head to bed early as the next day is out Great Ocean Road trip. Yay!

Clumsy

2008 - Sprained my ankle

2009 - nothing happened

2010 - Sprained my right hand

So this year 2011 I was way more clumsy! Guess what I fell down from the stairs! It has always been slippery cause of the tiles! So I was walking down the stairs and I thought someone came so ok just wanna see who is that and few more stairs I'm gonna reach the ground! Hallelujah I slipped and hurt my backbone and my right hand! How clumsy is that! I have experienced few times slipping off but manage to 'save' myself but this time it got worst! Quickly went to visit the chinese physician! The lady was not in so this guy suggested me to take medicine and use their needles to poke the blood out! I didn't want cause I experienced before! Eventhough the lady say its just like ants biting you well I don't think so it was really painful! So I just told him to massage! It was painful! so it took less than 10 minutes! He say dont walk so much and no gym too! Come on Tuesday to see it is ok!

So I came home about 3 plus and rest on my bed the entire day! Thanks to my blackberry for keeping me company! Had 4 bars of Zip Chocolate! It shrank a lot! Dearie dear bought pan mee for me to eat! Ate together at my house and we played monopoly! ha-ha it was fun and I lost a lot of money from him! grrrrrrrrr!

I just put the 'healing' plaster on my back hopefully it will be better tomorrow! My mum say its swollen already and ask me to go see the lady tomorrow night and get her to use the needles to poke the blood out! Oh well parents nagging also need to listen!

Sunday

It's a super duper lazy Sunday today! I woke up at 12.30p.m and I have stomachache! I rushed to the toilet quickly and released all! I guess I ate too much last night! Williams Taman Mayang really serve big portion foods! Then I had some sushi and dessert at karaoke! Don't you guys love eating! ha-ha! So what did I do the whole day? Normally I would go out with my boyfriend but I have decided to just stay home and relax!I had Bah Kut Teh and greentea for brunch! Yummy bah kut teh! Eat with abalone is just simply the best! =D

I have like 10 episodes to catch up which is Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Glee and America's Next Top Model! Drama series marathon!

One Tree Hill is also a good drama! I love the way they convey the closeness messages between friends and family! The music suits every part of the show and I somehow will feel very touch especially wedding episodes! =P

I love to watch gossip girl so much! The clothing wore by the actress! It's just simply gorgeous and beautiful! Oh well rich people can afford all that only!

same goes to Glee! ha-ha just that I hate the recent Bieber episode! ish ish! Sorry Bieber fans I just hate him so much! I really thought the song ONE TIME was a girl until I youtube the video and found out it is a GUY! XD

About 6-ish I was so super lazy to drive out and get food! I decided to order pizza online and it was not successful because my order did not exceed RM20! Fine~~~~ I called Mcdonalds instead and he told me there is no delivery at my area! damn~~~~ I gave up and just grab a cup of milo and biscuits! Ya that is my dinner! =)

Drama series marathon is fun! Continuous drama without ads! Just love downloads! ahhhh I miss those days I had back in Perth with my ex housemates! Tv marathon accompany by few bottles of vodka cruiser! Drink and watch till we are tired and sleep at the living room! ha-ha!

A day without him! I think I need to get use to it a bit especially when he is outstation! =P

Happy Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is officially over! How is your celebration? I'm sure it's great!

I spent 6 days CNY here and 7 days in Melbourne!

Let me summarize what I did during the CNY!

Chinese New Year eve - Work till 12.30p.m! then lunchie with my relatives! Collect angpow and go home! I didn't go out after then just wait till midnight and pray!

First day - Whole day at home watching movies! Late evening head to Justin's house for dinner and collect angpow! he-he I just watch my dearie dear gamble!

Second day - First time dearie dear visited my grandma house! Eat snacks, watch movies, collect angpow and leave! At night I joined dearie dear's relatives for dinner! OMGOSH we bet and lose a lot! Oh well it's Chinese New Year there always win and lose!

Third day - Working till 12.30p.m! Yes me work that day! how sad but no choice as I'm not willing to sacrifice my Annual Leave! Lunchie with my besties at La Bodega Empire! Then head to dearie dear house watch movie and eat snacks! At night I head to Bukit tinggi to collect my phone because Pyramid out of stock for blackberry 9780! grrrrr!

Fourth day - My open house! Dearie dear accompany from afternoon till late night! Thank you to the people who came over! Appreciate that a lot and thanks Karen for bringing the lantern! We wrote our wishes there and let it fly higher!

Fifth day - Official start working! Head to dearie dear's house to clean hammies cage and had our dinner at little jojo's kitchen in Subang!

Sixth day - Lou sang with my family and start packing for my Melbourne trip!

Fastforward

Fourteen day - Safe flight home! Rest for awhile then start cleaning hammies cage! Head home at about 3 sth because I'm having prayers at night!

Fifteen day - Final day of CNY! Just normal dinner with dearie dear's family!

That is a super short summary of my CNY days!

I will update my Melbourne and Valentine trip on my next post thats why I put fastforward! ha-ha! I didn't have time to visit friend's house because the rest of the days are spent in Melbourne!

FlashMob

You guys ROCK!

A billion thank you to the people who invited me to join flashmob! Thank you INTI College for letting us to practice at their college!

I've watched 1 flashmob happened in Gardens and I was like OH MAN how all this people get involved! I so wanting to join then Karen message everyone about the flashmob on facebook and I was super excited! It took almost 2 weeks of us to practice! Eventhough there was some distractions during the practice which is in KLCC, it didn't stop everyone from practicing!

Ha-ha I really enjoyed myself during the flashmob thou I missed the LAST step for Fireworks song and I was super duper nervous when it was the sign language part because I actually didn't practice much for that! So the night before the day I practice continuously for 2 hours! Glad I made it! =D

Thanks Elwyn for coming to watch the performance! Too bad my dearie dear couldn't join cause he has work!

I really love dancing and of course performances! This is my second time dancing in front of the crowds! The first time was at Subang Parade where Celebrity Fitness promoting their classes! I was not nervous at that time but this flashmob I was VERY nervous! ha-ha don't know why!

Anyway I'm still waiting for more photos and videos for the flashmob!
