My 2 Cute Cute Hammies

Finally one of my wishlist is fulfilled
Bought these two little cute hammies on 15th May 2010
Waited for my dearie dear to be free on one of the weekends
As he is working like almost every weekend
it was a beautiful Saturday and wait for dearie dear to pick me up
We head to Pets Wonderland at Midvalley so we check which breed to buy
Syrian hamsters?
roborovski hamsters?
Dwarf hamsters?
Winter White Hamsters?
But before that we head to Carrefour to buy hamster cage cause habitrail cages are way too expensive thou it is nice
Beginners like me will buy small cage first. He-he
Cage and pet food bought
so we head back to the petshop and ask for consultations
they say dwarf hamsters bite so we said ok
after looking at all hamsters we decided to buy winter white
RM22 each. I wanted to buy male and female but too bad they seperated both of them in different cage. As per what the guy said it is better to purchase hamsters that are in the same cage. So we bought 2 FEMALES. 1 small and 1 fat *chose by dearie dear*. We also bought the woodchips there.
after all done we head to dearie dear home to set up everything for both of them

1 was small just like me and the other one is fat just like my dearie dear
so contrast. ha-ha
Oh Yes we also discuss what name should we give both of them
As this is my first time buying pets
*thinking hard*
Chu chu and Chi chi are the name for my 2 cute hammies
the small one name as Chu Chu and the fat one name as Chi Chi

It takes time for them to get use to our hand
cause it's a new home and new environment for them
at the beginning they fight with each other so my dearie dear had no choice to seperate them for a night. Chi chi the fat one bully chu chu the small one.
the next day we head back to the pet shop and ask why and possible to change?
all of the sudden both of them stop fighting and found peace with each other. We ask the guy to look after them for awhile as I head to Carrefour to buy another small cage just in case they fight again.
if we want to change we have to wait till Wednesday as the new batch of hamster comes in
but both of us didn't want to let go cause we like them very much
In the end we didn't change our chi chi hamster

If im not mistaken this is chi chi eating

We bought watermelon for them to eat
ha-ha chi chi loves to eat fruit chu chu too but chi chi always eat more than chu chu
that's why chi chi is very fat just like my dearie dear

she is seriously very small
i always like to play with her
chi chi doesnt like to be hold
but i think she likes dearie dear more than me
because his hand is more meaty
LOL

my 2 hammies love to eat kuaci especially my chu chu girl
but we try to serve them different food instead of so much of kuaci
i just bought a bathroom for them
they love it so much
I also bought exercise ball. Chi chi needs to exercise alot as she is very fat.LOL
my dearie dear say i spoil them so much cause i buy this and that for them
I also rolled a tissue and hang it on the center for them
They use it as their cotton bed. The way they sleep sometimes are very funny. ha-ha the legs face up and there was once chi chi *we guess she has a nightmare* slept upwards and all of the sudden she fell down through the slide. *ouch*
ha-ha they are so so so cute
Too bad i can't look after them everyday because my mum dislike pets very much so the cage was put in my dearie dear's room
Put on top of the pail and water surrounding it to avoid the ants

Every now and then I will visit the pet shop to see if there is anything necessary for them.
My dearie dear wants to buy guinea pig. He likes them very much. You guys can see the contrast of both of us. Guinea pig is fat and big like my dearie dear whereby hamsters are small and cute just like me. XD
He plans to buy guinea pig soon.

It is 14th June and 1 more day will be 1 month we bought the hammies.
We don't know their date of birth but we will put 15th May as their birthday and I'm gonna celebrate their birthday 15th on every month because hamsters lifespan are not long. Me and dearie dear will cherish every moment with them.
